Trunk Tales

"Trunk Tales" is a charming partially stereoscopic 3D animated short film from our archives. Inspired by Paul Kor’s best-selling children's book "The Elephant That Wanted to Be the Best," this film delves into the life of a young grey elephant living in a peaceful neighborhood where grey elephants live contentedly.

Unlike the rest of his community, the young elephant is filled with questions and insecurities. He wonders why they live in the jungle, why they bathe in the river, and most importantly, why he is so grey in a world full of vibrant colors. Teased by a colorful parrot, he feels the need to be the smartest, fastest, strongest, and most beautiful.

Embarking on a whimsical journey, the young elephant discovers an age-old truth: there is nothing better than being true to one’s unique self. "Trunk Tales" combines heartwarming storytelling with visually captivating animation, making it a timeless piece that resonates with audiences of all ages.

Pitchipoy’s expertise in stereoscopic 3D animation brought this delightful story to life, capturing the essence of Paul Kor's narrative while providing a visually immersive experience. Distributed by Comet Entertainment in Canada, the film continues to inspire and entertain viewers worldwide.
